Okay, as a note? Amnesia sucks. Can't talk too much about the mission we were on, but we ended up with six months of our lives completely erased. M'gann managed to set everything straight, though. And Superboy took home a new pet--some kind of weird sphere he called, get this, "Sphere." He's cute, but not that creative.

Still got a few weeks till school starts, and from the sound of it, no missions for me for a bit. So if anyone wants to hang out or anything, I'm mostly free. It's almost Halloween community-time, right?

Where are you from?

It's a city called Gotham in the United States on Earth. And it's not exactly the nicest place.

I've heard of Gotham. We've had residents here before. Bruce Wayne, the Joker...

Wow. Now that's a range between them.

They were certainly the most memorable.

I agree. I haven't met either--and I'm glad I haven't met the Joker, trust me--but that's memorable all right.

They weren't the only ones, though; I do remember that. Harvey Dent was another.

Didn't realize the city was so popular on the community.

It hasn't been in a while. Perhaps it's fallen out of favor.

I wouldn't blame the community for deciding to hate it.

Yeah, a covert team for young heroes.

Yeah, not sure how covert we are to begin with when we have a tendency to blow up the bad guys' bases.

You could do that anonymously, if you don't leave calling cards or let yourselves be seen.

That's pretty much what we're doing. If it gets too out-of-hand, the public team takes the credit.

The public team?

Yeah, all the senior heroes. They're too visible to pull off anything covert. As long as nobody knows about us, it's easier to work.

Are they the ones who are training you, then?

Yeah. They're pretty much the best of the best.

I wonder if any of them have been here.

Don't know. We've got a good sized list of heroes.

I suppose it doesn't really matter.
